How the Hundreds Pattern Works
Before you look at the full list, understanding the pattern saves you from ever needing to look up most numbers in this range again.
Every number from 101 to 999 is built the same way. You start with the hundreds digit, say “Hundred,” then add whatever comes after it. The remaining two digits follow the exact same rules you used for 1 to 99.
Here’s the formula broken down:

Notice there’s no “and” between the hundreds and the remaining number. That’s the American English format, and it’s what this site uses throughout. British English does include “and” — so One Hundred and Five would be correct in the UK. For consistency, we skip it here.
The hyphen rule from 21 to 99 still applies in the remaining part. So 342 is Three Hundred Forty-Two with a hyphen between Forty and Two. But 305 is Three Hundred Five with no hyphen because Five is a single word.
Round hundreds are the simplest. 200 is just Two Hundred. 300 is Three Hundred. No extra words, no hyphens. The word Hundred stays singular — never “Hundreds.”

Putting “s” on Hundred

Four Hundred is spelled correctly with a “u” — F-O-U-R. But Forty (as in 440, 441, etc.) drops the “u.” So Four Hundred Forty is correct while Four Hundred Fourty is wrong. Both words start the same way but spell differently.
